July 2010 Meeting Topic

Member's Roundtable

Join us for a session where we’ll discuss in a structured, small group setting our strengths and opportunities to improve as Business Analysts.  Where have you excelled?  What have you learned from your experiences?  What do you need to focus on to grow as a BA?  We’ll provide the questions, you provide your responses and observations to your fellow members.

Call for Presentations

If you have professional development topics you're interested in seeing presented to the Chapter--especially those grounded in the Business Analysis Book of Knowledge (BABOK)--please contact Bryan Buford at ( This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it ) or feel free to make a post to the new Community forum highlighted below. We're especially interested in presentations made by our Chapter members!--it's a great opportunity to speak in front of a friendly audience and to share your knowledge of a specific area of the BABOK. Don't be shy--give the Chapter the benefit of your experience and perspective.

Study Group Interest?

We’ll have our first organizational call in early August to discuss study group logistics, with meetings to begin after Labor Day--look for Bryan Buford to contact everyone who has already expressed interest.  If you’re interested in participating in a BABOK study group (whether to prepare for the CBAP exam or to increase your general BA knowledge) and haven’t yet done so, please contact Bryan Buford ( This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it ) to be included.

SE WI IIBA Community Forum

Our Chapter now has a presence on the IIBA's community groups website.
